MINUTES President Sachse called the meeting to order at 6:02 p.m. and announced a quorum present. Minutes 5/11/2023 and May and June 2023 Financial report Motion made by Board Member Anthony, Seconded by Board Member Sharp. Voting Yea: President Sachse, Secretary/Treasurer Munoz, Board Member Sharp, Board Member Carlson, Board Member Anthony, Board Member Byrnes Public Hearing The purpose of this hearing is to hear evidence for or against the proposed 2023-2024 budget. No one spoke. Action Items: 2. Consider and Act upon approval of recommendation of 2023-2024 proposed budget.  Motion made by Board Member Anthony, Seconded by Board Member Carlson. Voting Yea: President Sachse, Secretary/Treasurer Munoz, Board Member Sharp, Board Member Carlson, Board Member Anthony, Board Member Byrnes Board Member Reports and Discussion Strategic Plan, Main Street Manager position, WIFI Director Lindholm advised the strategic plan interview went excellently, analysis will be sent out by the end of July. Next steps will be to do environments and survey on north and south corridor projects. Mr. Lindholm will be presenting this information at the quarterly Industrial Foundation meeting on July 14th. President Sachse asked if citizen participation would be needed? Mr. Lindholm reported if there were any issues most likely avenue would be going back to the stakeholders who were in the interviews in the beginning of the process. Main Street Manager position is still open and may have an interview this next week. Position could be considered for part time. Peoples Telephone WIFI project for the downtown area will be supported by the EDC Board, more information and costs will be submitted as we get on with the project.
