MINUTES Call to Order and announce a quorum is present Chair Johnson called the meeting to order at 5:07 p.m. and announced a quorum present. A Board Member may request any item to be removed from the Consent Agenda and considered as a separate item. 1. Minutes 1/20/2025 Financial Reports - October, November 2024 Motion made by Board Vice-Chair Franza, Seconded by Board Member Collvins. Voting Yea: Board Chair Johnson, Board Vice-Chair Franza, Board Secretary/Treasurer Copeland, Board Member Trampus, Board Member Collvins Discussion Items (no action will be taken) Spring Event-will be moved completely to Little Creek Park. David Gish will be providing entertainment for the children, there will be a petting zoo, bounce houses, face painting for children all in the baseball park area. Downtown and projects-movie projector - Chair Johnson has made contact with Epson regarding a projector for the movie theatre. Little Creek Park, Smokey Row-picnic tables this is something we would like to pursue when the spring event is over. Carry the Load - Entertainment, walk, flyers, participation Joint Council and EDC meeting regarding Planning and Zoning, Housing Study Committee Reports Organization - Morgan, Chris,Theresa, Ginger 4/10/2025 Economic Vitality - Morgan, Brittany, Stephanie 5/8/2025 Design - Crystal, Brittany, Stephanie Next meeting 2/20/2025 Promotions - Crystal, Chris, Theresa, Ginger Next meeting 3/13/2025 Set up next committee meeting lunch. (second Thursdays) Current report is the advantage of bill board signs. EDC and City will be researching costs and avenues of signage. (Design committee) Manager Update Friendly Friday Merchant Monday Food Truck Fridays - Movie & Music in the park EOY Assessment and Accredidation Friendly Fridays will be board members for the next several weeks. The idea is to let the community know who is serving and what their heart for the community is. Food Truck Fridays will begin with the Spring Event. The end of year assessment toward accredation has been turned in and accepted. Adjournment Motion made by Board Member Collvins at 5:45 p.m. to close the meeting, Seconded by Board Member Trampus.
