City of Mount Vernon City Council Study Session September 21, 2022 Police Court Campus, 1805 Continental Place Mayor Boudreau called the meeting to order at 7:03 p.m. Present: Councilmembers Beaton, Brocksmith, Carías, Hudson, Hulst, Molenaar, and Morales Staff Present: City Attorney Rogerson, Finance Director Volesky, Special Projects Manager Donovan, Development Services Director Groth, Building Official Sniffen, Permit Tech Morrison, and Permit Tech Freiberger Citizens Present: 1 A. Executive Session: The meeting was adjourned into Executive Session at 7:03 p.m. for a period of 20 minutes to discuss with legal counsel matters relating to litigation or potential litigation to which the agency, the governing body, or a member of acting in an official capacity is, or is likely to become a party, when public knowledge regarding the discussion is likely to result in an adverse legal of financial consequence to the agency pursuant to RCW 42.3.110(1) (i). The Executive Session will conclude at 7:23 p.m. No action will be taken following the session.
