CALL TO ORDER Chair Vogt called the meeting to order at 7:00 p.m. 2. ROLL CALL Present 5- Max Beckman-Harned, Paul Donahue, Elena Lopez, Vice Chair Phyllis Bismanovsky and Chair Nicole Vogt 3. MINUTES APPROVAL Motion - M/S Beckman-Harned/Lopez to approve the Library Board minutes of the December 17, 2018 meeting. The motion carried by the following vote: Yes: 5- Beckman-Harned, Donahue, Lopez, Vice Chair Bismanovsky and Chair Vogt The minutes from the January 14, 2019 meeting were denied due to missing information. 4. ORAL COMMUNICATIONS FROM THE PUBLIC - None 5. UNFINISHED BUSINESS 5.1 Library Exhibits Policy Attachments: Policy draft Motion - M/S Beckman-Harned/Donahue recommended to eliminate the Library Exhibits policy. The motion carried by the following vote: Yes: 5- Beckman-Harned, Donahue, Lopez, Vice Chair Bismanovsky and Chair Vogt 6. BOARD/STAFF ANNOUNCEMENTS, UPDATES, REQUESTS, AND COMMITTEE REPORTS City of Mountain View Page 1 Library Board Minutes February 11, 2019 Trustee Lopez asked for clarification regarding the customer survey. Trustee Beckman-Harned gave an update about the tax preparation class in the library. 6.1 Library Director's Report Attachments: Report Director Gray gave an update regarding the plan for the Library Board to review the City Council goals at the March meeting. Director Gray updated the Board on information about the California Library Association’s “Day in the District” in March and April. 7. DONATIONS Motion - M/S Beckman-Harned/ Bismanovsky to accept the donations. The motion carried by the following vote: Yes: 5- Beckman-Harned, Donahue, Lopez, Vice Chair Bismanovsky and Chair Vogt 8. AGENDA SETTING/PLANNING - City Council goals - Teen Librarian presentation - Date for April meeting - Library performance measures 9.
