SPECIAL MEETING OF THE SHORELINE REGIONAL PARK COMMUNITY
6:30 P.M.-SPECIAL SESSION (HELD IN THE COUNCIL CHAMBERS)
1. CALL TO ORDER/PLEDGE OF ALLEGIANCE
President McAlister called the meeting to order at 6:53 p.m. Assistant Community Manager
Stevenson Diaz led the Pledge of Allegiance.
2. ROLL CALL
Present: 6 - Boardmember Clark, Boardmember Inks, Boardmember Kasperzak, Boardmember
Siegel, Vice President Showalter, and President McAlister
Absent: 1 - Boardmember Rosenberg
3. CONSENT CALENDAR
MOTION - M/S Kasperzak/Inks - To approve the Consent Calendar. The motion carried by the
following vote:
Yes: 6 - Boardmember Clark, Boardmember Inks, Boardmember Kasperzak, Boardmember Siegel,
Vice President Showalter, and President McAlister
Absent: 1 - Boardmember Rosenberg
3.1 Approval of Minutes.
That Council approve the following minutes:
1. February 3, 2015 Shoreline Regional Park Community meeting;
2. April 14, 2015 Shoreline Regional Park Community meeting; and
3. April 21, 2015 Shoreline Regional Park Community meeting.

4. ORAL COMMUNICATIONS FROM THE PUBLIC ON NONAGENDIZED ITEMS
Don Letcher presented information on a census survey he completed and requested to see if the City
received a copy of the survey results. Mr. Letcher also expressed concerns with gentrification in the
City of Mountain View.
Greg Coladonato expressed concerns with the Council taking action in support of the Valley
Transportation Authority's Bus Rapid Transit Project, and he requested that Council reconsider the
item.
Jim Neal expressed concerns with the City voting in support of the Valley Transportation
Authority's Bus Rapid Transit project.
Judy Fawcett expressed concerns with the City voting in support of the Valley Transportation
Authority's Bus Rapid Transit project, and requested that Council reconsider the item.
Scott Stauter expressed concerns with the Valley Transportation Authority's Bus Rapid Transit
project, and requested that Council reconsider the item.
Melinda Mandell expressed concerns with the Valley Transportation Authority's Bus Rapid Transit
project, and requested that Council reconsider the item.
Gary Wesley presented information regarding the rules for reconsiding legislative items. Mr.
Wesley also requested that Boardmember Showalter share the information she stated she received
that led her to vote for the Valley Transportation Authority's Bus Rapid Transit project.
5. STUDY SESSION
5.1 Proposed Fiscal Year 2015-16 Through Fiscal Year 2019-20 Capital
Improvement Program.
Assistant Public Works Director Solomon presented an oral report and she, Police Chief Bosel,
Public Works Director Fuller and Treasurer Kong, responded to the Board's questions.
Boardmember Inks recused himself from participating in the discussion on the Mora/Ortega Park,
Design and Construction project and left the dais.
Boardmembers Clark and Siegel recused themselves from participating in the discussions on the
Latham/Church Bike Blvd., and Calderon Avenue Bike Lane projects and left the dais.
6. ADJOURNMENT - At 10:26 p.m., President McAlister adjourned the meeting.

2015-16 through Fiscal Year 2019-20 Capital Improvement Program (CIP)
for City Council review, comment, and refinement.
Staff will incorporate Council-requested revisions and present the
Five-Year CIP for adoption to the City Council on June 16, 2015.
