Quinn, City Attorney October 25, 2016 Council Chambers - 500 Castro St. SPECIAL MEETING OF THE SHORELINE REGIONAL PARK COMMUNITY 1. CALL TO ORDER/PLEDGE OF ALLEGIANCE President Showalter called the meeting to order at 6:54 p.m. and led the Pledge of Allegiance. 2. ROLL CALL Present: 5 - Boardmember Clark, Boardmember Inks, Boardmember McAlister, Boardmember Siegel, and President Showalter Absent: 2 - Boardmember Kasperzak and Vice President Rosenberg, 3. CONSENT CALENDAR MOTION - MS - McAlister/Clark - To approve the Consent Calendar. The motion carried by the following vote: Yes: 5 - Boardmember Clark, Boardmember Inks, Boardmember McAlister, Boardmember Siegel, and President Showalter Absent: 2 - Boardmember Kasperzak and Vice President Rosenberg 3.1 Fiscal Year 2015-16 Annual Compliance Report for Development Impact Fees and Capacity Charges; and Informational Reporting of Park Land Dedication Fee. Staff recommends making available to the public the Fiscal Year 2015-16 Annual Compliance Report for Development Impact Fees and Capacity Charges; and Informational Reporting of Park Land Dedication Fee, and the report will be placed on the agenda for the November 22, 2016 Regular Meeting. 4. ORAL COMMUNICATIONS FROM THE PUBLIC ON NONAGENDIZED ITEMS Don Letcher presented a copy of the 1969 Assembly Bill 1027 to Council and read an excerpt from the bill. Mr. Letcher also commented on the Shoreline Regional Park Community budget. Patrick Moore expressed concerns with pedestrian and bicycle safety, and he requested that Council City of Mountain View Page 1 City Council MEETING MINUTES 10/25/2016 designate a point person for ensuring that bicycle and pedestrian safety projects are followed through. Bart Volkmer spoke in support of Council sending a letter of rejection of the proposal prepared by the Select Committee on South Bay Arrivals. 5. ADJOURNMENT - At 9:14 p.m., President Showalter adjourned the meeting.
