CALL TO ORDER President Showalter called the meeting to order at 6:31 p.m. 2. PLEDGE OF ALLEGIANCE President Showalter led the Pledge of Allegiance. 3. ROLL CALL Present: 7 - Boardmember Clark, Boardmember Inks, Boardmember Kasperzak, Boardmember McAlister, Boardmember Siegel, Vice President Rosenberg, and President Showalter 4. CONSENT CALENDAR MOTION - MS - Kasperzak/Rosenberg - To approve the Consent Calendar. The motion carried by the following vote: Yes: 7 - Boardmember Clark, Boardmember Inks, Boardmember Kasperzak, Boardmember McAlister, Boardmember Siegel, Vice President Rosenberg, and President Showalter 4.1 Approval of Minutes. That Shoreline Regional Park Community Boardmembers approve the following minutes: 1. October 4, 2016 Shoreline Regional Park Community meeting; and 2. October 18, 2016 Shoreline Regional Park Community meeting. 4.2 Appropriate Funds for Payment of California Highway Patrol Traffic Control Services. Appropriate $29,136 in the Shoreline Regional Park Community Fund and $7,118 in the Park Land City of Mountain View Page 1 City Council MEETING MINUTES 11/1/2016 Dedication Fund (from Fiscal Year 2015-16 investment earnings), for a total of $36,254 for payment to the California Highway Patrol for traffic control support services during construction of the Permanente Creek Trail, Highway 101 to Old Middlefield Way, Project 06-33, and Stevens Creek Trail Sleeper-Dale/Heatherstone, Project 10-42. (Five votes required) 5. ORAL COMMUNICATIONS FROM THE PUBLIC ON NONAGENDIZED ITEMS Teddy Daligga, with the Santa Clara County Health Department, presented information regarding the Healthy Cities Conference and invited Council to attend the event. 6. NEW BUSINESS 6.1 Shoreline Boulevard/101 Northbound Off-Ramp Modifications, Project 15-39-Professional Services Agreement. Public Works Director Fuller presented an oral staff report and responded to the Board's questions. SPEAKING FROM THE FLOOR EXPRESSING CONCERNS AND/OR WITH RECOMMENDATIONS: Serge Bonte Tom Harrington, Transportation Management Association Chair Motion - M/S - Siegel/Kasperzak - To: 1. Transfer and appropriate $1,700,000 from the Shoreline Community Fund to Shoreline Boulevard/101 Off-Ramp Modification Feasibility Study, Project 15-39. (Five votes required) 2. Authorize the City Manager to amend an existing professional services agreement with AECOM of San Jose to provide planning, engineering, and environmental services for the conceptual design and Caltrans review phase of the Shoreline Boulevard/101 Northbound Off-Ramp Modifications, Project 15-39, in the amount of $1,206,892 for total compensation of $1,300,892. The motion carried by the following vote: Yes: 6 - Boardmember Clark, Boardmember Inks, Boardmember Kasperzak, Boardmember Siegel, Vice President Rosenberg, and President Showalter Absent: 1 - Boardmember McAlister 7. ADJOURNMENT - At 10:27 p.m., President Showalter adjourned the meeting.
