CALL TO ORDER President Showalter called the meeting to order at 6:55 p.m. 2. PLEDGE OF ALLEGIANCE James Wilson led the Pledge of Allegiance. 3. ROLL CALL Present: 7 - Boardmember Clark, Boardmember Inks, Boardmember Kasperzak, Boardmember McAlister, Boardmember Siegel, Vice President Rosenberg, and President Showalter 4. CONSENT CALENDAR MOTION - MS - Kasperak/Siegel - To approve the Consent Calendar. The motion carried by the following vote: Yes: 7 - Boardmember Clark, Boardmember Inks, Boardmember Kasperzak, Boardmember McAlister, Boardmember Siegel, Vice President Rosenberg, and President Showalter 4.1 City Auditor’s Annual Report for Fiscal Year 2015-16 and Work Plan for Fiscal Year 2016-17. 1. Accept and file the City Auditor’s Annual Report for Fiscal Year 2015-16. 2. Approve the City Auditor’s Work Plan for Fiscal Year 2016-17 as recommended. SPEAKING FROM THE FLOOR EXPRESSING CONCERNS: Don Letcher City of Mountain View Page 1 City Council MEETING MINUTES 12/13/2016 5. ORAL COMMUNICATIONS FROM THE PUBLIC ON NONAGENDIZED ITEMS Bo Cheli spoke in support of businesstudy.com, which provides an opportunity to employees and residents of Mountain View to continue their college education free of charge in certain instances. Don Letcher expressed concerns with the City of Mountain View potentially renting houses owned by the Santa Clara Valley Water District, loss of trees in Shoreline Park and with the Silicon Valley Clean Energy program. Jim Neal expressed concerns with unprovoked attacks on political minorities. Anne Glynn expressed concerns with the lack of parking at the Senior Center. Eddie Garcia requested that Council develop a plaque recognizing the 1975 Mountain View High School Football team CCS Championship. 6. ADJOURNMENT - At 11:25 p.m., President Showalter adjourned the meeting.
