CALL TO ORDER President Matichak called the meeting to order at 5:00 p.m. 2. PLEDGE OF ALLEGIANCE/ROLL CALL Interim Secretary Wong announced that all Boardmembers were present except for Boardmember Clark. Boardmember Clark arrived at 5:02 p.m. 3. CONSENT CALENDAR MOTION - M/S - Clark/Abe-Koga - To approve the Consent Calendar. The motion carried by the following vote: Yes: 7 - Boardmember Clark, Boardmember Hicks, Boardmember Kamei, Boardmember McAlister, Boardmember Ramirez, Vice President Abe-Koga, President Matichak 3.1 Approve Meeting Minutes. Approve the Shoreline Regional Park Community Minutes of February 28, 2019. 4. ORAL COMMUNICATIONS FROM THE PUBLIC ON NONAGENDIZED ITEMS Gary Wesley spoke regarding SB 50. Alex Nunez spoke regarding affordable housing and SB 50. Reyna Dominguez spoke regarding affordable housing. 7. NEW BUSINESS 7.1 Charleston Park Improvements, Project 16-59-Approve Concept Plan and Related Actions City of Mountain View Page 1 City Council MEETING MINUTES - Final 4/2/2019 Senior Civil Engineer Andy Chang presented the staff report. No speakers. MOTION - MS - McAlister/ Kamei - To: 1. Approve the concept plan for the Charleston Park Improvements, Project 16-59. 2. Approve the removal and mitigation of one Heritage evergreen ash tree at a 2:1 replacement ratio with 24" box tree. 3. Approve the removal and mitigation of one Heritage Canary Island date palm tree at an 8:1 replacement ratio with 24" box trees in the event this tree cannot be successfully transplanted to another location within the park.
