1. CALL TO ORDER
Chair Scarboro called the Environmental Planning Commission (EPC) hearing to order at
7:00 p.m.
2. ROLL CALL
Present: 7 - Commissioners Baird, Capriles, Cox, Kamei, Ramirez, Vice Chair Hehmeyer,
and Chair Scarboro
Absent: 0 – None.
3. MINUTES APPROVAL - None.
4. ORAL COMMUNICATIONS FROM THE PUBLIC - None.
5. STUDY SESSIONS
ITEM 5.1 - 700 AND 800 EAST MIDDLEFIELD ROAD, AND 1100 WEST MAUDE AVENUE
Planner Hagan gave an oral report.
Applicant Jim Morgensen of LinkedIn and Architect David Sabalvaro were present, gave
presentations, and with staff responded to questions raised by the EPC members.
Chair Scarboro opened the floor for public testimony asking if anyone from the public wished
to speak.

Principal Planner Alkire gave an oral report.
Applicant Dan Rubins with Fehr and Peers, and Steve Rottonborn with H.T. Harvey were
present, gave presentations, and with staff answered questions raised by the EPC members.
Chair Scarboro opened the floor for public testimony asking if anyone from the public wished
to speak.

Study Session to discuss a proposed Zoning Map Amendment and a
Planned Community Permit to construct three, new 6-story office
buildings, two, new 6-level parking garages, and retention of three
existing 2-story office buildings at a 28.7-acre project site. This project
site is located on the northeast corner of Middlefield Road and the
SR-237 Frontage Road.
Recommendation: That the Environmental Planning Commission (EPC) provides input on a proposed
office development at 700 & 800 East Middlefield Road, and 1100 West Maude
Avenue.
