Recommendation:
Minutes for the June 1, 2023 regular meeting have been delivered to the
Commissioners and a copy has been posted to the City Hall bulletin board. If there are
no corrections or additions, a motion is in order to approve these minutes.

Recommendation:

6. NEW BUSINESS
6.1 Federal Community Development Block Grant and Home Investment Partnerships Program
Updates and Recommendations for Fiscal Year 2024-25 Annual Action Plan Process
Recommendation:
That the Human Relations Commission:
1. Receive an update on items discussed during the Fiscal Year 2023-24 Annual
Action Plan process.
2. Approve the staff recommendation for continuing the direct allocation method of
funding capital projects for the Fiscal Year 2024-25 Annual Action Plan process.
Action may be taken on this item.

6.2 Fiscal Year 2023-24 Work Plan and Committee Appointments
Recommendation:
The Commission will review the Fiscal Year 2023-24 Work Plan and make
appointments to committees. No action will be taken on this item.

ADDRESSING THE COMMISSION:
Interested persons are entitled to speak on any item on the agenda and should make their interest known to the Chair.
Anyone wishing to address the Commission on an item not on the agenda may do so during the Oral Communications portion of the
agenda. For any agenda item or for Oral Communications on nonagenda items, if there appears to be a large number of speakers, the
Chair may reduce speaking time to no less than 1.5 minutes per speaker unless there is an objection from the Commission by majority
vote.
Pursuant to Government Code Section 54954.3(b)(1), at least twice the allotted speaking time will be provided to a member of the public
who utilizes a translator.
