Review and comment on the recommended Charleston Park Improvements Concept Plan and recommend approval of the Plan to the City Council. 2. Review the proposed Heritage tree mitigation for the Charleston Park Improvements Project and forward a recommendation to the City Council approving the staff-recommended mitigation of 2:1 tree replacements with 24” box trees for the removal of two Heritage trees. Forward a recommendation to City Council for the attached Community Garden Guidelines to be implemented for all three community gardens: The Willowgate Garden, Senior Garden, and Latham Community Garden. 2. Forward a recommendation to City Council to update garden fees for Community Gardens as shown in Figure 1 of the report. 3. Forward a recommendation to City Council to allow for up to 10 plots at Latham Community Garden to be short-term plots for a maximum term of one year. 4. Forward a recommendation to City Council to implement a financial assistance program for gardeners at Latham Community Garden where eligible garden members will pay the senior discounted rate. Review the suggested projects in Attachment 1. 2. Propose any projects that are more important which are missing from the suggested projects list. 3. By action of the advisory body as a whole (consensus or majority), provide input about which Council suggested and/or new advisory body suggested projects are most important. 4.
