Wednesday, July 8, 2020 7:00 PM Video Conference With No Physical Meeting Location
This meeting was conducted in accordance with State of California Executive Order N-29-20,
dated March 17, 2020. All members of the City Council participated in the meeting by video
conference, with no physical meeting location.
1. CALL TO ORDER
Chair Herbach called the meeting to order at 7:04 p.m.

Present 5- Commissioner Ronit Bryant, Commissioner Steve Filios, Commissioner Russell
Devine, Vice Chair Joe Mitchner, and Chair Jonathan Herbach

3.1 Approval of Minutes

5.1 Update from Community Services Director regarding COVID-19
Response and Next Steps
Community Services Director Marchant provided an update regarding COVID-19.

6.1 Heritage Tree Appeal - 99 East Middlefield Road
M/S Herbach/Bryant - To defer Item 6.1 to a subsequent meeting when all parties can be
present.

6.2 Heritage Tree Appeal - 1866 Golden Way
Forestry and Roadway Manager Jakob Trconic presented a report and answered the
Commission's questions.

M/S Bryant/Herbach - To adopt a resolution denying the appeal, upholding staff’s
decision, and allowing the Magnolia grandiflora, Southern magnolia, to remain.

6.3 Heritage Tree Appeal - 1950 San Ramon Avenue
Forestry & Roadway Manager Jakob Trconic presented a report and answered the
Commission's questions.

Summer Limb Drop.
