NEW BUSINESS 5.1 Shoreline Play Structure Replacement Project Update, Project 20-55 Recommendation: Recommend the replacement of the majority of the Shoreline Play Structure equipment in-kind with play equipment manufactured by the original manufacturer, Columbia Cascade, Inc. Provide a recommendation to the City Council to appropriate $7,428,000 from the Park Land Dedication Fund (Fiscal Year 2018-19 Refunds, Fiscal Year 2018-19 Investment Earnings, Fiscal Year 2019-20 Refund, and Park Land Dedication In-Lieu fees from June 2017, November 2017, and July 2020) for five projects as shown in Attachment 1. 2. Provide a recommendation to the City Council to schedule the parks-related capital improvement projects in the new five-year plan as shown in Attachment 2. Anyone wishing to address the Commission on an item not on the agenda may do so during the "Oral Communications" part of the agenda. For any agenda item or for Oral Communications on nonagenda items, if there appears to be a large number of speakers, the Chair may reduce speaking time to no less than 1.5 minutes per speaker unless there is an objection from the Commission by majority vote.
