ORAL COMMUNICATIONS FROM THE PUBLIC This portion of the meeting is reserved for persons wishing to address the Committee on any matter not on the agenda. Speakers are limited to three minutes. State law prohibits the Committee from acting on non-agenda items. 5. UNFINISHED BUSINESS Mountain View Film Festival Recommendation: Hear Subcommittee report from the October 10, 2022 Subcommittee meeting. Background: At the August 2022 PAC meeting, PAC approved a Film Festival Subcommittee who will investigate the potential for producing a film festival in 2023 and recommend action to PAC. 6. NEW BUSINESS 6.1 Peninsula Youth Theatre Annual Review Recommendation: Hear Staff report and Peninsula Youth Theatre's recap of the year. Background: As part of Peninsula Youth Theatre's (PYT) long term Home Company contract, Staff will present a summary of performance use days, sales and expenses, and open up discussion for opportunities to improve service and/or relations. PYT will provide a report on their financials and discuss their outreach activities for the past year. COMMITTEE/STAFF ANNOUNCEMENTS, UPDATES, REQUESTS AND COMMITTEE REPORTS No action will be taken on questions raised by the Committee at this time. 8. ADJOURNMENT The next Performing Arts Committee meeting will be held on Wednesday, November 16, 2022 at 6:15 p.m. via video conference with no physical location. SPECIAL NOTICE: Any writings or documents provided to a majority of the Performing Arts Committee regarding any item on this agenda will be made available for public inspection in the Center for the Performing Arts office, located at 500 Castro Street, during normal business hours and at the meeting location noted on the agenda during the meeting. ADDRESSING THE COMMITTEE Interested persons are entitled to speak on any item on the agenda and should make their interest known to the Chair. Anyone wishing to address the Committee on a nonagenda item may do so during the “Oral Communications” part of the agenda. Speakers are allowed to speak one time on any number of topics for up to three minutes.
