CALL TO ORDER Meeting was called to order by Committee Chair, Buddy Russell at 6:30 pm. 2. ROLL CALL & CERTIFICATION OF A QUORUM Kim Gann, certified a quorum with the following members present:  Buddy Russell  Dr. Lorraine Chalkley  Brett Hardi  Margaret Whitt  Tammy Drake  Kim Parker City Staff Present: Kim Gann – Executive Administrative Assistant 3. INDIVIDUAL CONSIDERATION A. Consider and/or act on approve the July 18, 2019, Regular Animal Shelter Advisory Committee Meeting minutes. Kim Parker, Support Services Manager COMMITTEE ACTION: (Item 3A) APPROVED Margaret Whitt moved to approve the July 18, 2019, Regular Animal Shelter Advisory Committee Meeting minutes. Dr. Lorraine Chalkley seconded the motion. For: Unanimous. The motion carried by a vote of 6-0. 4. STAFF UPDATES A. Low-Cost Vaccine Clinic – January 25, 2020 Kim Parker reported the Low-Cost Vaccine Clinic on January 25, 2020, had an attendance of 63. Animal Shelter Donation Account Kim Parker stated there was $10,300 currently in the donation account, which will fund the fence project at the Animal Shelter. C. Animal Shelter Carport and Fencing Project Update Kim Parker stated that the fence and gate project will start once the bond project is up and going again. D. Animal Shelter Advisory Committee 2020 Meeting Dates Kim Parker announced the remaining meeting dates for 2020 would be July 23, 2020, and November 12, 2020 at 6:00 pm ADJOURNMENT With no further business, the Animal Shelter Advisory Committee meeting adjourned at 6:45 pm. STAFF UPDATES A. 2020 Low-Cost Vaccine Clinics Kim Parker gave a recap of the attendance for the 2020 Low-Cost Vaccine Clinics: January 25, 2020 – 63 / May 22, 2020 – 52 / October 24, 2020 - 57 Page 5 of 6  Agenda Item 3. B. ASAC Minutes January 7, 2021 B. Low-Cost Vaccine Clinic Dates for 2021 Kim Parker informed the Committee that the following dates are scheduled for the 2021 Low-Cost Vaccine Clinics. January 23, 2021 – May 22, 2021 – October 23, 2021. C. 2020 State Shelter Inspection Kim Parker informed the Committee the state inspection occurred in December. It was a virtual inspection, and they did pass, and their DEA License was renewed. D. 2020 Animal Control Stats Kim Parker informed the Committee that calls for service were down a little, but pet adoptions numbers did increase some. She stated they didn’t have any changes with bites, citations, and quarantine numbers. E. Animal Shelter Donation Account Kim Parker stated there was $11,400 currently in the donation account. F. Animal Shelter Carport and Fencing Project Update Kim Parker explained there will be a secured fence with an electric gate. The future goal is to the ACO’s completely housed at the shelter.
