CALL TO ORDER Meeting was called to order, by Chair Margaret Whitt at 6:06 pm. 2. ROLL CALL & CERTIFICATION OF A QUORUM Kim Gann, certified a quorum with the following members present: Margaret Whitt Stephanie Atwell Tammy Drake Dr. Ann Fraser Sgt. Jason Smith Board Members Absent: Jaskiran Kaur City Staff Present: Kim Gann – Executive Administrative Assistant 3. PRESENTATIONS A. Oaths of Office (both the Statement of Elected/Appointed Official and the Oath of Office) are to be administered to the new and reappointed members, Dr. Anne Fraser, Margaret Whitt, Jaskiran Kaur, Tammy Drake and Sgt. Jason Smith Kim Gann, Police Department 4. INDIVIDUAL CONSIDERATION A. Election of a Vice Chair to serve in 2023. Sgt. Jason Smith, Animal Control Supervisor Margaret Whitt made a motion to elect Stephanie Atwell as Vice Chair of the Animal Shelter Advisory Committee. Tammy Drake seconded the motion. Sgt. Jason Smith, Animal Control Supervisor. Sgt. Jason Smith made a motion to approve the February 20, 2020, Regular Animal Shelter Advisory Committee Meeting minutes as presented. Chair Margaret Whitt seconded the motion. Motion passed 5-0. C. Consider and/or act on approve the January 7, 2021, Regular Animal Shelter Advisory Committee Meeting minutes. Sgt. Jason Smith, Animal Control Supervisor. Chair Margaret Whitt made a motion to approve the January 7, 2021, Regular Animal Shelter Advisory Committee Meeting minutes. Sgt. Jason Smith seconded the motion. Motion passed 5-0. D. Consider and/or approve the remaining 2023 Animal Shelter Advisory Committee Meetings. Sgt. Jason Smith, Animal Control Supervisor. The Committee had a discussion of dates for the remainder of 2023. Sgt. Jason Smith made a motion to approve August 14, 2023 and October 30, 2023 as the two remaining Animal Shelter Advisory Committee Regular Meeting dates for 2023. Dr. Ann Fraser seconded the motion. Motion passed 5-0. 5. STAFF UPDATES A. 2022 Low-Cost Vaccine Clinic Update. January 22, 2022 – 116 / May 21, 2022 – 108 / October 29, 2022 – 73 B. 2023 Low-Cost Vaccine Clinic Dates. Located at the Animal Shelter from 10:00 am – 12:00 pm January 28, 2023 / May 27, 2023 / October 21, 2023 C. 2022 Maize Days Update. 2 microchips / 3 ID Tags / 3 Donations ADJOURNMENT The meeting was adjourned at 6:36 pm.
