MINUTES SPECIAL MEETING BOARD OF MAYOR AND BURGESSES JUNE 8, 2010 1. Mayor Robert Mezzo called the special meeting to order at 6:00 p.m. with the following in attendance: BURGESSES: RESIDENTS: None T. K. Rossi H. Kuczenski R. Burns R. Neth PRESS: None A. Campbell P. Scully M. Ciacciarella, 6:45 p.m. R. Woodfield, absent M. V. Fragoso DEPARTMENT HEADS: OTHERS: W. McAllister, Controller F. Khericha, Kaestle Boos Associates D. King, Kaestle Boos Associates 2. Mayor Mezzo led in the Pledge of Allegiance to the flag. 3. VOTED: Unanimously on a motion by Deputy Mayor Rossi and seconded by Burgess Neth to recess to Executive Session at 6:01 p.m. for discussion on the following: Collective Bargaining (UPSEU and Chapter 90) inviting in Controller W. McAllister. Mayor Mezzo reconvened the meeting at 7:07 p.m. 4. The following motion emanated from Executive Session. VOTED: Unanimously on a motion by Deputy Mayor Rossi and seconded by Burgess Neth that the Board of Mayor and Burgesses authorize Mayor Robert Mezzo to enter into a memorandum of agreement June 2, 2010 Revised between the Borough of Naugatuck and the Borough of Naugatuck United Public Service Employees Union, Local 424 - Unit 15 and a memorandum of agreement between the Borough of Naugatuck and the Supervisors Chapter 90, C.S.E.A., Local 2001, SEIU and the memorandum of agreement Revised May 18, 2010 regarding health insurance between the Borough of Naugatuck United Public Service Employees Union, Local 424 - Unit 15. 5. VOTED: Unanimously on a motion by Deputy Mayor Rossi and seconded by Burgess Campbell that the Board of Mayor and Burgesses approve the combined bid for the “Andrew Avenue and Central Avenue School Roof Projects” to The Imperial Company, Inc., 261 Main Street, Cromwell, CT, 06416 in the amount of  -2- Minutes – Board of Mayor and Burgesses Special Meeting – June 8, 2010 $1,330,000.00 (base bid), as recommended by the Five Year Capital Projects Building Committee. 6. VOTED: Unanimously on a motion by Burgess Fragoso and seconded by Burgess Kuczenski to adjourn the meeting at 7:17 p.m. A tape recording of this meeting is available in the office of the Borough Clerk for further review.
