MINUTES SPECIAL MEETING BOARD OF MAYOR AND BURGESSES DECEMBER 27, 2012 1. Mayor Robert Mezzo called the special meeting to order at 6:17 p.m. with the following in attendance: BURGESSES: PRESS: T. K. Rossi L. Jackson A. Malik M. Bronko, absent R. Neth L. Marshall R. Burns R. San Angelo, absent M. Ciacciarella, absent P. Scully, Sr. C. Ernsky, absent DEPARTMENT HEADS: OTHERS: W. McAllister, Controller Atty. N. Grello K. Hanks, Fire Chief W. Malicki, Fire Comm. 2. Mayor Mezzo led in the Pledge of Allegiance to the flag. 3. VOTED: Unanimously on a motion by Deputy Mayor Rossi and seconded by Burgess Burns to recess to Executive Session at 6:18 p.m. for discussion on the following: Collective Bargaining (Firefighters Contract) inviting in Attorney N. Grello, Controller W. McAllister, Fire Chief K. Hanks and Fire Commission Chair W. Malicki. Mayor Mezzo reconvened the meeting at 6:51 p.m. 4. The following motion emanated from Executive Session. VOTED: Unanimously on a motion by Deputy Mayor Rossi and seconded by Burgess Scully that the Board of Mayor and Burgesses authorize Mayor Mezzo to enter into a contract between the Borough of Naugatuck and Naugatuck Firefighters Union Local 1219 IAFFA AFLCIO Collective Bargaining Agreement dated July 1, 2012 to June 30, 2015. 5. VOTED: Unanimously on a motion by Deputy Mayor Rossi and seconded by Burgess Scully to adjourn the meeting at 6:53 p.m. A digital recording of this meeting is available in the office of the Borough Clerk for further review.
