REVISED MINUTES BOARD OF MAYOR AND BURGESSES SPECIAL MEETING SET THE MILL RATE – FISCAL YEAR 2015-2016 MAY 14, 2015 1. Mayor Robert A. Mezzo called the special meeting to order at 9:32 p.m. with the following in attendance: BURGESSES: PRESS: T. K. Rossi R. Neth E. Gugliotti M. Bronko A. Olbrys P. Singley R. Burns . P. Scully, Sr. C. Ernsky R. Vitale RESIDENTS: L. Jackson None DEPARTMENT HEADS: R. Butler, Controller K. Hanks, Fire Chief OTHERS: D. Sheridan, Finance Board D. Scinto, Finance Board C. Montini, Assistant School Superintendent J. LaCharity, Police Dept. 2. Mayor Mezzo led in the Pledge of Allegiance to the flag. 3. VOTED: Unanimously on a motion by Deputy Mayor Rossi and seconded by Burgess Neth that the tax rate for the fiscal year July 1, 2015 through June 30, 2016 on the Borough of Naugatuck Grand List of October 1, 2014, as amended by the Board of Assessment Appeals, be and hereby is laid at 45.99 Mills on the Dollar, due and payable 50% July 1, 2015, 50% January 1, 2016 on real estate tax and personal property tax. All real estate and personal property tax bills $100.00 or less will be due and payable July 1, 2015. Motor vehicle taxes over $300.00 will be due and payable 50% July 1, 2015, 50% January 1, 2016. All motor vehicle tax bills $300.00 or less will be due and payable July 1, 2015. 4. VOTED: Unanimously on a motion by Burgess Scully and seconded by Burgess Bronko to adjourn the special meeting at 9:33 p.m. A digital recording of this meeting is available in the office of the Borough Clerk for further review.
