MINUTES SPECIAL MEETING BOARD OF MAYOR AND BURGESSES JULY 21, 2016 1. Mayor “Pete” Hess called the special meeting to order at 6:15 p.m. with the following in attendance: BURGESSES: RESIDENTS: R. Burgess Donovan led in the Pledge of Allegiance to the flag. 3. Motion by Burgess Scully and seconded by Burgess Hoff that the Board of Mayor and Burgesses authorize Mayor Hess to execute a Purchase Power Agreement known as the Energy Supply and Services Agreement with Doosan Fuel Cell America, Inc. for the installation of fuel cell power at the Borough of Naugatuck’s Wastewater Treatment and Incineration Facility for the purpose of reducing both the energy costs and carbon footprint of that facility. Motion amended. VOTED: Unanimously on a motion by Burgess Scully and seconded by Burgess Donovan that the Board of Mayor and Burgesses amend the previous motion. VOTED: Unanimously on a motion by Burgess Scully and seconded by Burgess Burns that the Board of Mayor and Burgesses authorizes Mayor Hess to execute a Purchase Power Agreement known as the Energy Supply and Services Agreement with Doosan Fuel Cell America, Inc. for the installation of fuel cell power at the Borough of Naugatuck's Wastewater Treatment and Incineration Facility for the purpose of reducing both the energy costs and carbon footprint of that facility. Said agreement shall be consistent with the representations made by Doosan at the May 18th, 2016 meeting of the Board of Mayor and Burgesses and shall be approved by the borough corporation counsel.  -2- Minutes – Board of Mayor and Burgesses Special Meeting – July 21, 2016 4.
