COUNCIL ROOM
FEBRUARY 26, 2019
6:45 P.M.
The Commission on Public Works/Utilities met in regular session, Chair Quicker presiding.
On roll call: all members present.
The minutes of the previous meeting were declared approved.
Director of Public Works Flynn reported no burials at the Cemetery, equipment
maintenance, snow and ice removal from streets and sidewalks, trimming and pruning trees,
maintaining street lighting, filling potholes, hauling brush and compost to old landfill, Water
Department repaired leaks on W. Twelfth Street and River Avenue, Sewer Department snow
removal at lift stations and Sewer Plant, if the snow continues we may have to push/blow it
on people’s yards/sidewalks (example: if there are sidewalks on both sides of a street we
may have to close one side).
Motion Neville, second Counsell, that Water Bills Nos. 37 to 62 in the amount of
$30,961.60 and Sewer Bills Nos. 21 to 44 in the amount of $26,676.41 be paid. All Aye.
Motion Neville, second Weiers, to adjourn. All Aye.

The Common Council met in regular session, Mayor Glassbrenner presiding. On roll call:
all members present. The Pledge of Allegiance was recited.
The minutes of the previous meeting were declared approved.
City Clerk Roehl reported on the February 26, 2019 meeting of the Illegal Tax Committee
regarding the recommendation that the former Christie property, 514-518 Hewett Street
(Parcel No. 261.0968.000) net special charges, special assessments and real estate taxes
deficiency of $15,190.64 be written off.
Council Member Quicker reported on the February 26, 2019 meeting of the Commission
Public Works/Utilities regarding: 1) current activities and 2) payment of bills.
Mayor Glassbrenner asked if there were any questions on the Illegal Tax Committee item.
Motion Clough, second Counsell, to accept the recommendation that the former Christie
property, 514-518 Hewett Street (Parcel No. 261.0968.000) net special charges, special
assessments and real estate taxes deficiency of $15,190.64 be written off. All Aye.
City Clerk Roehl reported on the Clark County Hazard Mitigation Plan Update.
Neillsville’s community meeting is scheduled for Friday, March 8, 2019 at 8:00 A.M. By
joining with the County there is no cost to the City, except for participation time involved
and it allows the City to remain eligible for FEMA grant dollars.
Mobile Home Park License Application:
Neillsville MHC, LLC, Park Place Mobile Home Court, Gregg R. Scheirman, Agent,
210 E. Division Street.
Motion Quicker, second Clough, to grant. All Aye.
Motion Neville, second Quicker, that City Bills Nos. 167 to 222 in the amount of
$1,707,075.56 be paid. All Aye.
Motion Counsell, second Neville, to adjourn. All Aye.
