Committee of the Whole Minutes
The Committee of the Whole met at the City of Nekoosa Office
Location: Council Chambers, 951 Market St. Nekoosa, WI 54457
Time: Tuesday, November 19th, 2024, at 5:30 P.M.
Call to Order
The meeting was called to order at 5:30pm by Mayor Daniel J. Carlson. The roll call was conducted by City Clerk
Kallee Dhein.
Roll Call
Aldermen Present: Adam Buehring, Anthony Carlson, Garrett Kuhn, Michael Kumm, Brad Hamilton, Larry
Krubsack and Brian Krubsack via Zoom
Daniel Downing was noted as absent.
Also in attendance was Jon Trautman via Zoom, Darla Allen – Library Director, and Jeff McDonald.
Discussion and possible action of short- and long-term disability for 2025
A motion was made to approve employer paid short- and long-term disability starting in 2025 and add it to
the handbook.
Motion by: Brad Hamilton Seconded by: Michael Kumm Motion carried unanimously.
Public Hearing of Final Budget Numbers
A motion to go into Public Hearing to allow public comment on 2025 budget numbers.
Motion by: Brad Hamilton Seconded by: Anthony Carlson Motion carried unanimously.
A motion to close Public Hearing and go back into the current meeting session.
Motion by: Brad Hamilton Seconded by: Anthony Carlson Motion carried unanimously.
Adoption of 2025 Municipal Levy Limit numbers
A motion was made to approve a total municipal levy of $1,509,500.
Motion by: Anthony Carlson Seconded by: Brad Hamilton Motion carried unanimously.
Adjournment
A motion was made to adjourn the meeting.
