Common Council Minutes
The Common Council met at the City of Nekoosa Office
Location: Council Chambers, 951 Market St. Nekoosa, WI 54457
Time: Tuesday, June 24th, 2025, at 7:15 P.M.
Call to Order
The meeting was called to order at 7:24pm by Mayor Daniel J. Carlson. The roll call was conducted by City Clerk
Kallee Dhein.
Roll Call
Aldermen Present: Larry Krubsack, Brian Lytner, Mike Kumm, Brad Hamilton, and Garrett Kuhn
Alan Marcoux, Daniel Downing, and Anthony Carlson were noted as absent.
Also in attendance was Rick Schmidt - Public Works Director
Citizen Comment
No comments were brought to the attention of the council.
Old Business
No old business items were brought forward for discussion.
New Business
Discussion and possible action on SDWLP Reimbursement Resolution
Director Rick Schmidt summarized that this meeting was being held to approve a resolution for a SDWLP loan
application for the water system that will be installed during the Fairview Lane road project. The meeting had
to be held this week because this application must be submitted by June 30th, 2025.
Motion to approve Resolution 06-2025.
Motion by: Brad Hamilton Seconded by: Larry Krubsack Roll call vote: 5 Ayes, 0 Nays.
Motion carried unanimously.
Adjournment
A motion was made to adjourn the meeting.

Meeting adjourned at 7:26pm.

resident on any item not on the agenda. Please know that pursuant to State law the council members
cannot engage in conversation with you but may ask questions. The council may refer the item to staff,
a standing committee, or a future meeting for discussion and possible action. Each person wishing to
speak will have up to 10 minutes to speak, unless more time is granted by the council. If you wish to
speak, we ask that you submit a card to the secretary or clerk providing your name, address, and topic
for discussion.
The council will also take comments from the public on agenda items as called for by the Mayor. Please
note that once the City of Nekoosa Common Council begins discussion on an agenda item no further
comment will be allowed from the public on that issue.
