REGULAR MEETING OF MONDAY, NOVEMBER 21, 2022
AGENDA
CALL TO ORDER
Mayor Brockman called the meeting to order at 4:00 p.m.
CALL OF ROLL: CITY SECRETARY
Present 5 - Mayor Rusty Brockman, Councilmember Christopher Willis,
Councilmember Lawrence Spradley, Councilmember Jason
Hurta, and Councilmember James Blakey
Absent 1 - Mayor Pro Tem Harry Bowers
INVOCATION: COUNCILMEMBER SPRADLEY
Councilmember Spradley provided the invocation.
PLEDGE OF ALLEGIANCE & SALUTE TO THE TEXAS FLAG
Mayor Brockman led the Pledge of Allegiance and the Salute to the
Texas Flag.
1. WORKSHOP
A) Presentation, discussion, and possible direction to staff regarding the
proposed 2023 Bond Program.
Mayor Brockman read the aforementioned item.
Garry Ford presented a PowerPoint giving details over 2023 Proposed
Bond Projects.
Garry Ford answered questions from Council throughout the
presentation.
Jared Werner gave an update for the NBEDC and Bond Advisory
Committee Workshop scheduled for Tuesday November 22,2022.
Garry discussed the next schedule Bond Advisory and Council
workshop with Public Input on December 5, 2022.
2. EXECUTIVE SESSION
Monday, November 21, 2022 New Braunfels City Council - Special Regular Meeting
In accordance with the Open Meetings Act, Texas Government Code, Ch. 551, the
City Council may convene in a closed session to discuss any of the items listed
below. Any final action or vote on any executive session item will be taken in open
session.
There were not executive session items addressed.
3. RECONVENE INTO OPEN SESSION AND TAKE ANY NECESSARY
ACTION RELATING TO THE EXECUTIVE SESSION AS DESCRIBED
ABOVE.
4. ADJOURNMENT
Mayor Brockman adjourned at 5:39 p.m.
