MINUTES - FINAL OF THE NEW BRAUNFELS CITY COUNCIL - SPECIAL REGULAR MEETING OF THURSDAY, NOVEMBER 17, 2022 AGENDA CALL TO ORDER Mayor Brockman called the meeting to order at 5:30 p.m. CALL OF ROLL: CITY SECRETARY Present 5 - Mayor Rusty Brockman, Councilmember Andres Campos, Councilmember Christopher Willis, Mayor Pro Tem Harry Bowers, and Councilmember Lawrence Spradley Absent 2 - Councilmember Jason Hurta, and Councilmember James Blakey INVOCATION: Mayor Brockman provided the invocation. PLEDGE OF ALLEGIANCE & SALUTE TO THE TEXAS FLAG Mayor Brockman led the Pledge of Allegiance and the Salute to the Texas Flag. 1. WORKSHOP A) Presentation on Key Initiatives, Regulatory and Compliance Updates, and Future Outlook from New Braunfels Utilities. Mayor Brockman read the aforementioned item. Ian Taylor introduced this item giving a brief overview and presented a PowerPoint provided giving details over NBU's Strategic Plan and Annual Priorities. Ian Taylor turned the PowerPoint over to Dawn Schriewer, who continued the PowerPoint and provided details over Utility Operations and Outcomes. Ian Taylor made additional comments, and introduced Ryan Kelso. Ryan Kelso continued the PowerPoint giving details over the Capital Improvement Program, Water Supply and Facilities. Sarah Richards made additional comments, and continued the Thursday, November 17, 2022 New Braunfels City Council - Special Regular Meeting PowerPoint giving details over Water Planning and Electric Planning. Ian Taylor made additional comments and introduced the third-party, Jamie Many from Energy Authority. Jamie made preliminary remarks, and continued the PowerPoint to give details over Power Supply Program. Ian Taylor concluded the presentation and answered questions from Council. Mayor Brockman opened the floor for comments from the public. No citizens spoke at this time. 4.
