Community Open House Neighborhood Meeting - Bilmar Ave Thursday, May 29, 2025 at 5:30 PM Council Chambers Come learn about an upcoming street reconstruction project on Bilmar Avenue. Project Background: Earlier this year, the City issued a Request for Proposals (RFP) for the Bilmar Avenue reconstruction project. A bid opening was held in March, and the contract was awarded to Total Excavating, the lowest qualified bidder. Total Excavating is a contractor that frequently works on projects throughout the City of New Richmond, and we are confident this will be a strong and successful partnership. The project will include updates to the street surface, curb and gutter, stormwater improvements, and associated utility work. While we are excited to complete these much-needed improvements, we understand that construction projects can be disruptive and want to ensure you are informed every step of the way. Neighborhood Meeting: This meeting will provide more details about the project, timeline, and what to expect during construction, we invite you to attend a neighborhood meeting with City staff and representatives from Total Excavating. It will be a great opportunity to ask questions, learn about the construction schedule, and share any concerns you may have prior to the start of the work. Your input and cooperation are very important to us.
