ADJOURNMENT  Ethics Board Meeting Minutes 9:00 AM - Thursday, December 14, 2023 Council Chambers The Ethics Board of the City of New Richmond was called to order on Thursday, December 14, 2023, at 9:00 AM, in the Council Chambers, with the following members present: PRESENT: Larry Gee, Kate Avoles, David Nelson ABSENT: Fr. John Anderson, Debbie Brennan OTHERS Michelle Scanlan (in person), Sarah Reese (virtually) PRESENT: CALL TO ORDER ROLL CALL ADOPTION OF AGENDA Larry Gee made a motion to adopt the Agenda. David Nelson seconded the motion. Carried unanimously. APPROVAL OF MINUTES Consensus to move approval to the next meeting. BUSINESS CODE OF CONDUCT The group reviewed and discussed examples and sample drafts of Code of Conduct documents from other municipalities. A first draft of the City of New Richmond Code of Conduct was shared and edits were made. The draft will be shared with the other members and reviewed again at a January 11 meeting. ADJOURNMENT Larry Gee made a motion to adjourn at 11:00am. David Nelson seconded the motion. Carried unanimously. Ethics Board Meeting December 14, 2023  Ethics Board Meeting Minutes 1:00 PM - Thursday, January 11, 2024 Council Chambers The Ethics Board of the City of New Richmond was called to order on Thursday, January 11, 2024, at 1:00 PM, in the Council Chambers, with the following members present: PRESENT: Larry Gee, Fr. John Anderson, Kate Avoles, David Nelson, Debbie Brennan ABSENT: OTHERS Michelle Scanlan, Sarah Reese PRESENT: CALL TO ORDER ROLL CALL ADOPTION OF AGENDA Debbie Brennan made a motion to adopt the Agenda Larry Gee seconded the motion. Carried unanimously. APPROVAL OF MINUTES David Nelson made a motion to approve the Minutes from 17 Nov 2023 and 14 Dec 2023. Kate Avoles seconded the motion. Carried unanimously. BUSINESS CODE OF CONDUCT David Nelson made a motion made a motion to approve the first draft of the Code of Conduct pending legal review. Larry Gee seconded the motion. Carried unanimously.
