ADJOURNMENT Police and Fire Commission Meeting Minutes Thursday, December 4, 2025 at 1:00 PM Council Chambers The Police and Fire Commission of the City of New Richmond was called to order on Thursday, December 4, 2025, at 1:18 pm, in the Council Chambers, with the following members present: PRESENT: Shawn Demulling, Jon Hailey, Andrea Guinn ABSENT: Kirk Lindell, Michael Hedges OTHERS Chief Craig Yehlik and Sarah Reese PRESENT: CALL TO ORDER Meeting called to order at 1:18 pm. ROLL CALL ADOPTION OF AGENDA Andrea Guinn made a motion to approve the adoption of the agenda Shawn Demulling seconded the motion. Carried unanimously. APPROVAL OF MINUTES MINUTES FROM: Shawn Demulling made a motion to approve the minutes from September 3, 2025 Police and Fire Commission Meeting Shawn Demulling made a motion to go into Closed Session per State Statute 19.85 (1)(c) at 1:20 pm. Andrea Guinn seconded the motion. Carried unanimously. Andrea Guinn seconded the motion. Carried unanimously. PROBATIONARY PATROL OFFICERS Police and Fire Commission Meeting December 4, 2025 PROBATIONARY PAID-PER-CALL FIREFIGHTER HIRING Andrea Guinn made a motion to return to Open Session at 1:29 pm. Shawn Demulling seconded the motion. Carried unanimously. OPEN SESSION - ACTION ON CLOSED SESSION AGENDA Probationary Patrol Officers: Shawn Demulling made a motion to approve the two Officers to come off probationary status as discussed in closed session. Andrea Guinn seconded the motion. Carried unanimously. Probationary paid-per-call Firefighter hiring: Shawn Demulling made a motion to approve hiring the three probationary Firefighters as discussed in closed session. Andrea Guinn seconded the motion.
