Minutes Village of Newburg Plan Commission Meeting Thursday, June 05, 2025 – 6:30 P.M. NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the next meeting of the Plan Commission, Washington & Ozaukee Counties, Wisconsin is scheduled for Thursday, June 5, 2025, at 6:30 p.m. at Village Hall, 620 W. Main St. Call to order and roll call. Trustee Member (Chair)Dave DeLuka Trustee Member Mike Enright Trustee Member Mike Heili Citizen Member Al Wollner Citizen Member Sandy Stockhausen Citizen Member Roger Zorn Citizen Member Jarod Probelski All members present 7-0. A quorum was met, and the meeting was called to order at 6:35pm. PUBLIC HEARING The Plan Commission will hear comments and concerns related to the re-zone of parcels V6_028100Q and V6_028100T (located on Autumn Dr in the Steeple Hill Development) from R-2 Residential to R-4 Residential for the purpose of allowing smaller setbacks to aid in the development and construction of homes. All interested parties will be heard. Motion to open public hearing. Moved by DeLuka; seconded by Heili. Motion prevailed by a voice vote 7-0. Richard Hartwig, 6191 Congress Dr., West Bend, WI 53095 (Town of Trenton) Mr. Hartwig questioned the approval of the development and was informed that this was approved back in 2000. He asked about what the zoning would change and when the development would start, Administrator Wendelborn informed him that only the setbacks would change and would begin as soon as the developer and the Village can come to an agreement on the process. Mr. Hartwig then questioned the increase in traffic to the area, which was explained by what the current plan lays out. Motion to close public hearing. Moved by Heili; seconded by Enright. Motion prevailed by a voice vote 7-0. BUSINESS • Rezone of parcels V6_028100Q and V6_028100T (located on Autumn Dr in the Steeple Hill Development) from R-2 Residential to R-4 Residential for the purpose of allowing smaller setbacks to aid in the development and construction of homes. Motion to approve rezone of parcels V6_028100Q and V6_028100T (located on Autumn Dr in the Steeple Hill Development) from R-2 Residential to R-4 Residential. Moved by Enright, seconded by Wollner. Motion prevailed by a roll call vote of 7-0. Members will be notified at least one week prior to a meeting date if a meeting will take place. The next potential meeting of the Plan Commission is scheduled for 6:30pm on Thursday, July 3rd, 2025. Pursuant to State ex.rel. vs. Greendale Village Board, 173 West 20 533,494 NW 2nd 408 (1993), such attendance may be considered a meeting of the respective governmental body. This notice is given so that members of other governmental bodies of the village may attend the meeting without violating the open meeting law.
