MINUTES Village of Newburg Plan Commission Meeting Thursday, October 02, 2025 – 6:30 P.M. NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the next meeting of the Plan Commission, Washington & Ozaukee Counties, Wisconsin is scheduled for Thursday, October 2, 2025, at 6:30 p.m. at Village Hall, 620 W. Main St. Call to order and roll call. Trustee Member (Chair)Dave DeLuka Trustee Member Mike Enright Trustee Member Mike Heili Citizen Member Al Wollner Citizen Member Sandy Stockhausen Citizen Member Roger Zorn Citizen Member Jarod Probelski All members present except for Commissioner Wollner & Commissioner Stockhausen, who were excused, 5-0- 2. A quorum was met, and the meeting was called to order at 6:30pm. BUSINESS • Discussion and possible action on architectural review and site plan review for commercial building construction located at 466 Decorah Rd, parcel ID V6_027300A, Applicant Andrea Ward. There were no zoning concerns for this application. The 1-bedroom apartment causes an issue with building requirement. The applicant acknowledges the complexity of mixing commercial and residential and it was decided to exclude the 1-bedroom apartment from the design. Motion to approve architectural review with changes to the application as discussed within the meeting and removal of Conex boxes from property upon completion of the project at 466 Decorah Rd, West Bend, WI 53090. Moved by DeLuka; seconded by Enright. Motion prevailed by a roll call vote 5-0-2. • Discussion only on St. John’s school Addition and Conditional Use Permit. There was discussion regarding the need for a Class 2 Publish Hearing Notice for the Conditional Use Permit which will be held at November’s Plan Commission Meeting. ADA compliance was discussed. A two phase project approach was discussed with complete project approval being given at this time. Members will be notified at least one week prior to a meeting date if a meeting will take place. The next potential meeting of the Plan Commission is scheduled for 630pm on Thursday, November 6th, 2025. Pursuant to State ex.rel. vs. Greendale Village Board, 173 West 20 533,494 NW 2nd 408 (1993), such attendance may be considered a meeting of the respective governmental body. This notice is given so that members of other governmental bodies of the village may attend the meeting without violating the open meeting law.
