PUBLIC SAFETY & PUBLIC RELATIONS CHAIRPERSON JIM FRIEL: Met with Dean Kale on his concerns from last council meeting. The committee will continue to watch the homeowners. Mayor said they are watching house closely and will cite violations soon. LEGISLATION & PERSONNEL‐ CHAIRPERSON RANDY LITTLE: N/A DEPARMENT REPORTS: STREET/CEMETERY‐ TRAVIS: Absent POLICE DEPARTMENT‐ CHIEF HOLLAND: August Report: September: Total Incidents: 286 263 Total Officer Reports: 30 33 Total Misdemeanor & Felony arrests: 6 7 Total Citations: 59 52 FISCAL OFFICER‐ LISA STITELER: 2018‐2019 Audit released‐ no findings. They had a few recommendations/suggestions to offer. Updated council on Cares Act and Grants received so far. 25 grants total requesting $55,267.38 so far. Committee is still reviewing applications. WATER/WASTE‐WATER – JARED MCFARLAND: N/A EMERGENCY SERVICES: NERS‐ Absent TRI COUNTY‐ Board will meet on Thursday. PARK/POOL: N/A LEGAL COUNSEL‐ BOB STEPHENSON: N/A MAYOR: Salt bin update‐ ran into structure in the ground so we changed plans. There will be no poured walls, instead using large concrete blocks for the walls. Started the demolition at Simonds today. System III closing has been pushed out 2 to 3 weeks. Boat ramp‐ EPA is doing samples in ground now. Motion to hire John Resh as part time Tech I by Randy Little and seconded by Allen Collins.
