A total of 241 calls since January 1st of this year and were able to handle all of the calls without turning them over. FEMA grant was sent in-Jeff is hoping to send in more grant applications for training and SCBA bottles. Motion to hire Glenn Tidd and Aiden Tidd as Volunteer Firemen pending training certification Jan motioned to approve and Allen seconded it. We will start a plan and determine who is responsible for what tasks and the second in command should the department head not be able to perform their job. NEW BUSINESS: 01-25 Resolution of the Tusc. County Newcomerstown village of Ohio supporting the ohio commission for the US Semiquincentennial (America 250-OH). Allen moved to motion approval and David seconded it. Police-$620,000 Fire -$100,000. Allen approved the move and Jan seconded the motion. This agreement is the same as last year for $3,000. Motion to approve made by Michael and seconded by Susan. The new term will end 12-29. David made a motion to approve and Allen seconded. After discussion we decided to add signs to Main St Ext and River St Ext. The signs will state: (language TBD) Discuss contract with Sheriff’s Department (Jail contract) -No action has been taken at this time 2025 Committee Assignments.
