BUILDINGS & GROUNDS- CHAIRPERSON DAVID SHEPHERD: Discussed cold storage building,
the electrical needs looked at and they are looking at basic safety quotes now. When David
receives a quote he will pass it along.

DEPARMENT REPORTS:
STREET: Pat reported update for street department. The brick building by the cold storage
building had a squatter in it, and has since been boarded up after police secured the inside.
Electricity 3 phases might not be required for the cold storage building.
CEMETERY: Cemetery clean up went well
POLICE DEPARTMENT- CHIEF LAWSON: Monthly reports- 201 total calls, Reports-16 Arrests-2

FISCAL OFFICER- LISA SPILLMAN: Auditors will be April 22-24th 1st reading on 2024 pay scale
will be ready for next meeting. 2024 pool rates will be attached to minutes
WATER/WASTE-WATER – JARED MCFARLAND: Hydrant flushing was last week
FIRE-CHIEF PARKS: Cleaned out old station and are currently moving into it.

TRI COUNTY- Nothing to report
MAYOR:
The Pickle factory is moving into the industrial field. Scrap tire event is happening Saturday and
is held by the Tusc. County Health Department. Plymouth foam update
NEW BUSINESS: 07-24 The following Final Resolution enacted by the Village of
Newcomerstown, hereinafter referred to as the Legislative Authority or Local Public Agency, in
the matter of the stated described project. Motion to accept the resolution made by Susan and
seconded by David

OLD BUSINESS: Ordinance 05-24 Authorizing the use of utility vehicles (UTVs), side-by-sides
and mini trucks on village streets, where the speed limit is thirty-five miles per hour or less,
providing an inspection program therefore, and repealing inconsistent legislation. -2nd Reading
