VILLAGE OF NICHOLS -- Board Meeting October 8, 2024 Call to Order: by President Terry Scheller at 6:00 p.m., with Trustees Kathy Krull, Jerry Krull, Rebecca Gottsacker, and Mark Simpson present. Also present were Roger Ort, and RoseMary Stingle. Pledge: The Pledge of Allegiance was recited. Outagamie County Police: Agenda: Motion by Mark to approve the agenda, second by Becky, carried. Minutes: Motion by Mark to approve the minutes of the September 10 regular meeting, second by Jerry, carried. Treasurer’s Report/Bank Statements: Motion by, Terry, second by Kathy, carried. Bills to Approve/VISA statement: Motion by Jerry to approve the bills paid on Village checks #19406 - #19430, second by Terry, carried. Black Creek Police / Municipal Court Reports: (None received) Water & Sewer Report (Roger):  111 new meters installed.  Roger contacted MHP telling them responsibilities with heat tape. Unfinished Business:  Razing Order: Order is being implemented will not be complete in time for 2024 taxes, still moving forward asbestos test and WPS & WE energies shut off services per Menn Law.  LRIP Project: still collecting numbers and communicating the best needs.  Corporate Network Solutions pay by hour. Looking into new IT business.  Signed and approved 2025 Black Creek Ambulance Contract, Motion by Kathy, second by Jerry, carried. New Business:  Discussed the change of a new building Inspector  Roger retirement December 31, 2025: Looking to hire replacement October 2025 to train from Roger.
