VILLAGE OF NICHOLS -- Board of Review May 13, 2025 Call to Order: Board of Review by Terry Scheller at 6:00 p.m. Notice to adjournment of 5/13/25 Board of Review to Open book date of 10/06/25 from 12:00 pm to 5:00 pm and Board of Review date of 10/20/25 from 5:00 pm to 7:00 pm motion by Terry Scheller/Kathy Krull, carried. VILLAGE OF NICHOLS—Board Meeting Call to Order: by President Terry Scheller at 6:05 p.m., with Trustees Mark Simpson, Jerry Krull, Julie Schwarz, and Kathy Krull present. Also present were Roger Ort and RoseMary Stingle. Agenda: Motion by Julie/Jerry to approve the agenda, carried. Minutes: Motion by Terry/Kathy to approve the April 8, 2025, minutes, carried. Treasurer’s Report/Bank Statements: Motion by Terry/Julie to approve, carried. Bills to Approve/VISA statement: Motion by Terry/Julie to approve the bills paid on Village checks #19598–19622, carried. Black Creek Police / Municipal Court Reports: (none) Outagamie County Police: Looking into hiring someone to enforce our ordinances as well as other possibilities with Black Creek now eliminating their police force. Water & Sewer Report (Roger): Dumpster days, generator needs possible fuel pump for WWTP, Roger to get quotes for road sealing for next meeting. CMAR next month/ CCR report done. No longer next day delivery now 2 days for water samples being sent in. 30 hour hold time for tests, looking into other options. Hydrant flushing was completed for spring. Unfinished Business:  Loan for street project-Motion for $74,000 short term loan from CFCU and Terry Scheller assigned as signer, motion by Terry/Julie, carried.  10-year loan for street project through Board of Commissioners of Public Land, motion by Mark/Julie, carried.  LGIP move all funds to cover fire truck expense motion by Terry/Mark, carried. New Business:  Parking lot quotes on hold for now  Dumpster Days June 9th – June 14th  The late fee for water bills will stay the same. Sewer rate increase again will visit in June.  Special Meeting being held Tuesday, May 20 th at 5:00 pm for new liquor license applicant and provisional license.  Moving June10th board meeting to June 17th.
