CITY OF NORMAN, OK COMMUNITY DEVELOPMENT BLOCK GRANT POLICY COMMITTEE Development Center, Room A, 225 N. Webster Ave., Norman, OK 73069 Wednesday, April 23, 2025 at 6:00 PM MINUTES The Community Development Block Grant Policy Committee of the City of Norman, Cleveland County, State of Oklahoma, met in Regular Session in the Council Chambers at the Municipal Building, on Wednesday, April 23, 2025 at 6:00 PM and notice of the agenda of the meeting was posted at the Norman Municipal Building at 201 West Gray, and on the City website at least 24 hours prior to the beginning of the meeting. CONSIDERATION OF APPROVAL, ACCEPTANCE, REJECTION, AMENDMENT, AND/OR POSTPONEMENT OF THE MINUTES FROM JANUARY 22, 2025. Motion by Karen Canavan to approve the minutes as submitted; Second by Kendel Posey. All approve. REPORTS 2. CARRY OVER CDBG AND HOME FUNDING AND PROGRAMS FOR FYE26 There will be about $40,000 in carry over funding, which will be used for Housing Rehabilitation projects. All current programs will be continued – CDBG Neighborhood Programs, Housing Rehabilitation, and the Housing Navigator position. Pending Committee approval, the 30-day comment period opens April 24, 2025.
