SOCIAL AND VOLUNTARY SERVICES COMMISSION Minutes of January 30, 2017 The Social and Voluntary Services Commission of the City of Norman, Cleveland County, State of Oklahoma, met for the Regular Meeting on this date at 5:30 p.m. Notice and Agenda of the meeting were posted at 201 W Gray Building A, the Norman Municipal Building, and at www.Normanok.gov twenty-four hours prior to the beginning of the meeting. Chair Pam Normile called the meeting to order at 5:32 p.m. ITEM NO. 1 BEING: Roll Call MEMBERS PRESENT: Aisha Ali Kay Antinoro Angela Barbour Teresa Capps Kristal Hamm Denise Millar Pam Normile Angela Steinle Ann Way STAFF PRESENT: Lisa Krieg, CDBG/Grants Manager Jolana McCart, Admin Tech IV ITEM NO. 2, BEING: Approval of the minutes from the June 27, 2016 meeting. Motion by T Capps for approval of the minutes; Second by D Millar. All approve. ITEM NO. 3, BEING: Election of chair and vice-chair. Motion for P Normile for chair and D Millar vice-chair. All approve. ITEM NO. 4, BEING: City of Norman Ethics Policy for appointed and elected city officials. Each Commission member signed the Ethics Policy and the forms will be turned in to the City Clerks’ office. ITEM NO. 5, BEING: Presentation of request for proposals format and proposed timeline. (See attached) SVSC January 30, 2017 Page 2 ITEM NO. 6, BEING: Presentation of site visits. All site visits have been completed except for Bethesda and CSBI. Written reviews are available upon request. A concern was aired per Food and Shelter for Friends. Chair Normile will be speaking with the director for clarification. Due to the late hour, only half of the visits were presented. The other agencies will be presented February 20, 2017 at 5:30 p.m. ITEM NO. 7, BEING: Miscellaneous announcements. There were none.
