Discussion and Possible Action Regarding Priority Recommendations for City Council Retreat Committee Discussion STRONG TOWNS AD HOC COMMITTEE - Monday, June 26, 2023 Page |1  Committee Members discussed what they think would be the most important items they want to focus on. The top tier has 5 that they wanted to focus which were: review codes and regulations preventing increased densification, policy for Accessory Dwelling Unit (ADU) allowance, multifamily/medium density housing in or near downtown, Policy regarding reduction of minimum lot sizes, and pattern zoning style of development.  The second tier is identification of underutilized assets, policy for creativity in new suburban development, policy regarding pocket neighborhoods, policy regarding suburban retrofit, identification of long-term assets and liabilities, and identification of areas prime for medium-density housing.
