TREE BOARD March 6, 2017 The Tree Board of the City of Norman, Cleveland County, State of Oklahoma, met in the Study Session Room on the 6th day of March 2017 at 4:00 P.M. ITEM 1, being: ROLL CALL Present: Chairman Menzie and members Fagin, Janaway, and Winegardner ( two positions vacant) Absent: Members Grisso, Huffman and Spain City Officials Present: Lisa Griggs, Sr. Program Coordinator Sherrel Sheriff, Admin Tech IV ITEM 2, being: APPROVAL OF THE FEBRUARY 6, 2016 MEETING MINUTES Member Fagin made the motion and Member Janaway seconded to approve the minutes. The vote was taken with the following results: YEAH: Chairman Menzie and members Fagin, Janaway, and Winegardner NAY: None ITEM 3, being: APPROVAL OF THE AGENDA Member Winegardner made the motion and Member Fagin seconded to approve the agenda. The vote was taken with the following results: YEAH: Chairman Menzie and members Fagin, Janaway, and Winegardner NAY: None Tree Board Page 2 of 2 February 6, 2017 ITEM 4, being: SUBCOMMITTEE REPORTS Member Fagin reported The 2nd Friday Art Walk – will continue participation possibly in April – waiting for warmer weather and need to locate a place to distribute literature from. Chairman Menzie will bring Banner and agreed to help No Tree Tip for March ITEM 5, being: EARTH DAY Earth Day will be held on April 23rd at Reaves Park. The Tree Board will have a booth. Chairman Menzie stated the Tree Wizard will have their own booth again this year and will bring t-posts to hang the Tree Board Banner. It was suggested to try to get a London Plane tree to plant. ITEM 6, being: MISCELLANEOUS COMMENTS Lisa Griggs announced that today was Sherrel’s last meeting. There will be a retirement reception on Friday March 10th from 2-4 in the multi-purpose room. ITEM 9, being: ADJOURNMENT Member Fagin made the motion and Member Janaway seconded to adjourn.
