OFFICIAL MINUTES – MEETING OF July 15, 2024 Village of North Fond du Lac – BOARD OF TRUSTEES Board Present Staff Present Mike Streetar – President Nick Leonard- Administrator John Duffy- Trustee Pete Vergos-Police Chief Chuck Hornung- Trustee Jake Flaherty-EMS/Fire Chief Ann Price – Trustee Mitch Vis-Director of Public Works Mike Will-Trustee Heather Wegner-Library Director Shawn Hendrix- Police Lieutenant A. ROLL CALL OF OFFICERS Streetar called the meeting to order at 6:00 PM. Duffy, Hornung, Streetar, Price and Will present. B. PLEDGE OF ALLEGIANCE C. CITIZENS PARTICIPATION D. ANNOUNCEMENTS E. PRESIDENT’S BUSINESS AND STAFF REPORTS 1. Administrator Leonard and present Department Heads gave a summary of the weekly report along with some updates from County Board members. F. CONSENT AGENDA 1. Approve the minutes of the following Village Board Meeting: 07/01/2024. 2. Approve invoices and authorize checks to be drawn on the respective funds as indicated. 3. Approve the following operator licenses: Daniel Buchberger- R-Store- Permanent 131 West Cotton St Fond du Lac, WI Motion to approve by Will, second by Price. 5 ayes. Motion carries. G. ADMINISTRATIVE 1. The Board discussed the use of State and Local Fiscal Recovery Funds (SLFRF). Director of Public Works, Mitch Vis presented the Board with several designs for new welcome signs and also park signs. After discussion, the Board asked for some modifications to the designs and also preferred the stone signs for the parks and the aluminum signs for the welcome signs. Staff will continue to research and report back to the Board at future meetings. H. ORDINANCE 1. The Board discussed and read Ordinance-2024-06, an ordinance revising 13.05(4) Park Regulations for pets. Second reading. Motion to approve by Hornung, second by Duffy. Roll call: Duffy-yes, Hornung-yes, Streetar-yes, Price-yes, Will-yes. Motion carries. I. UNFINISHED BUSINESS J. NEW BUSINESS L. ADJOURNMENT A motion was made by Price with a second by Duffy to adjourn at 6:59 P.M.- 5 ayes.
