North Kansas City Public Library Board of Trustees Board Meeting Minutes: October 20, 2025 The North Kansas City Library Board of Trustees met on October 20, 2025 at 6 p.m. in the North Kansas City Public Library Meeting Room and via Zoom. Nick Dean, Bart German, Reilly Atkins, Alicia Stewart, Christina Golding, Courtney Hardesty and Lori Mangan, Director. Jennifer Shea attended as staff. Audra Ernst attended as a member of the public. Lyndsey Magrone attended as City Council Representative. The meeting was called to order at 6:03 pm. Motion was made to the change of the order of the agenda and passed unanimously. (German/Stewart) Motion was made to go into an executive session and passed unanimously at 6:05 pm. (Stewart/Golding) Motion was made to leave executive session at 7:14 pm. (German/Golding) Meeting was repopened to the public at 7:14pm. Observer and City Council Representative were no longer in attendance. A motion was made to approve the Consent Agenda and passed unanimously. (German/Stewart) Lori Mangan gave the following updates on old/new business: IMLS Funding and Reauthorization Tax Levy Rate Fall Food Drive New Library Furniture Baby Storytime General updates The Board voted unanimously to adjourn the meeting at 7:24 pm.
