Commissioner Chris Teiken was absent. I. Call to Order and Approval of Agenda Chair Schulte opened the meeting at 7:05 PM and asked to move the announcement of the Vice Chair from the Planning Commission (PC) agenda to the Zoning Board of Appeals agenda (ZBA). Administrative Assistant Mikayla Fischer announced that Joe Gasior was unanimously voted in as Vice Chair to the ZBA and PC. A motion was made by Board Member Balster, seconded by Board Member Gasior, to approve the ZBA agenda for April 16, 2015. The motion carried by the following vote: Yes: 5- Chair Schulte, Board Member Balster, Board Member Gasior, Board Member Jasnoch and Board Member Skunes II. New Business Items 1. ZBA Res. Variance Request for 702 Aldrich Drive 2015-002 Attachments: 2015-002 702 Adlrich Dr Variance Resolution Location Map Deck Site Plan Survey Public Hearing - 702 Aldrich Dr Chair Schulte read the rules of order for the public hearing process. City Planner Scott Tempel reviewed the property owners variance request. No public comment was received. A motion was made by Board Member Gasior, seconded by Board Member Balster, to close the public hearing. The motion carried by the following vote: Yes: 5- Chair Schulte, Board Member Balster, Board Member Gasior, Board Member Jasnoch and Board Member Skunes 2. ZBA Res. Variance Request for 1002 Spring Street 2015-003 Attachments: 2015-003 - 1002 Spring St Variance Resolution 1002 Spring St Map Letters of support CUP for 1000 Spring St Photos Public Hearing - 1002 Spring Street Chair Schulte opened the next public hearing at 7:16 PM. Tempel reviewed his staff report on the two variance requests for 1002 Spring Street. Chair Schulte invited the public to speak. Skip DeLong - 1002 Spring St. - stated the siding of the wall will be pulled and used on the outside of the new structure and then entrance doors will on the south and west of the addition. A motion was made by Board Member Gasior, seconded by Board Member Balster, to close the public hearing at 7:30 PM. The motion carried by the following vote: Yes: 5- Chair Schulte, Board Member Balster, Board Member Gasior, Board Member Jasnoch and Board Member Skunes A motion was made by Board Member Skunes, seconded by Board Member Gasior, to approve Resolution 2015-003 for the variance request at 1002 Spring Street to expand the building area to 36% and set the side setback at 5 feet. The motion carried by the following vote: Yes: 5- Chair Schulte, Board Member Balster, Board Member Gasior, Board Member Jasnoch and Board Member Skunes 3. ZBA Res. A motion was made by Board Member Jasnoch, seconded by Board Member Balster, to close the public hearing at 7:45 PM. The motion carried by the following vote: Yes: 5- Chair Schulte, Board Member Balster, Board Member Gasior, Board Member Jasnoch and Board Member Skunes A motion was made by Board Member Skunes, seconded by Board Member Gasior, to approve Resolution 2015-004 approving the variance request for 2350 Bridgewater Lane allowing 25% of the front of the building to be windows. The motion carried by the following vote: Yes: 5- Chair Schulte, Board Member Balster, Board Member Gasior, Board Member Jasnoch and Board Member Skunes III.
