MEETING MINUTES
1. The Meeting of the Boards, Commissions, Committees and Agencies Appointment
and Reappointment committee was held on July 12, 2021
2. Meeting was called to order at 6:30 P.M.
Members Present:
Alderwoman Stacy Gould
President Pro Tem Mark Bettencourt
Alderwoman Ella Myles
3. Review, Consider and Possible Action on Identifying Candidates:
Interview were conducted for:
Personnel & Pension Board
Norwich Public Utilities Commission & Sewer Authority
Committee unanimously recommends that Francis Gavigan was
recommended be appointed as an alternate member to the Personnel &
Pension Board.
Committee vote was taken on a 2 to 1 vote Ashon Avent was
recommended to be appointed to the Norwich Public Utilities Commission
& Sewer Authority.
4. Concluded interviews at 7:15 P.M.
5. Adjourn the meeting at 7:33 P.M.
