2. Review of May 8, 2013 NBSA meeting minutes: Motion made by GC seconded by PS
passed (5-0) to accept meeting minutes as presented.
3. Public Comment: None
4. Chaim1an's Report
A. Correspondence
1. Sent: Letter to Mayor Peter Nystrom in reference to a vacancy created by the
resignation of Peter Maneri (attached).
2. Received: (a) A letter of resignation from Mr. Maneri (attached).
(b) Thank you letter from Algonquin Gas Transmission, LLC
(attached)
(c) Letter dated 05113/2013 from Eagle Rivet Roof Service
Corporation in reference to Dodd Stadium roof repairs (attached)
B. Budget Committee Report: PM resigned therefore there was no Budget
Committee Report.
C. Operations Committee (GS/Organization Representatives)
1. Stadium Update: (GS)
GS was late attending the meeting therefore no report was given.
2. Organization's Monthly Report:
a. CK reports that opening day is set for June 17,2013.
b. CK reports that they have been extremely busy at the ballpark
getting it ready for opening day. CK reports that the entire
warning track has been replaced. In addition, the in:field will be
laser leveled prior to opening day. CK reports that the field is in
immaculate shape, the entire ballpark is in great shape.
c. Regarding the roof leaks, CK reports that it is now repaired.
d. When NPU was inspecting rooftop units, they discovered that one
of the compressors has failed. Therefore only one compressor is
working. This is an issue that needs to be discussed witb the Board
in further detail.
e. CK reports that they were able to get power to the lights in Lot 3.
In addition, all lights in the parking areas were checked and they
discovered 8 - 9 bulbs were out. SR will check with NPDU to see
if they will replace the light bulbs.
f. CK reports that on June 15,2013 there will be a baseball clinic at
Dodd Stadium for 6-15 year olds.
g. CK reports that ticket sales have so far exceeded last year's sales
as oftoday's date. CK reports that there is a possible sellout for
the June 23, 2013 game. If so, this will be the first sellout for the
Connecticut Tigers.
h. CK further reports that they have scheduled 9 fireworks shows for
this season.
I CK reports that he will have a check for the Authority in the
amount of$135,366.05 for rent and utility re-imbursement.
5. Old Business:
Wireless Solutions, LLC Status of Contract: GS reports that there is no current activity.
Therefore this item will be removed from Old Business.
Renovations of men's and women's bathroom suite level update: TC states that the plans
and specifications are complete. TC will forward the plans and specifications to
purchasing agent Bill Block, which in tum will be put out for bid.
6. New Business: None
7. Adjournment: Motion made by GS seconded by SR to adjourn. Motion passed
unanimously (6-0) at 6:25 p.m. Next meeting: July 10,2013,6:00 p.m. to be held at
Dodd Stadium, Suites 5 and 6.

I received the attached resignation from Baseball
Authority member Peter Maneri. Peter's resignation leaves
one opening 6n the Board. The current makeup of the board
is as follows:

We are seeking an individual with an accounting
background. As you are aware, Mr. Maneri is a CPA who has
served the Board in an exemplary fashion for many years.
If you know of someone who is an accountant and would be
interested in sitting on the Board, please advise. The
individual's party affiliation would not matter. As it
currently stands we are in compliance with the Minority
Representation Statute (C.G.S. §9-167a).

The Eagle Rivet Roof Service Corporation proposes to furnish and install the materials and perfOlID the labor for the
scope of work below.
SCOPE OF EAGLE WORK
• Repair visibly deteriorated curb flashings @ Exhaust Fan above Grill in Concession Stand (1 sf Base Side)
• Make repairs to 2 Exhaust Fans in vicinity.
• Clean all splices with weathered membrane cleaner per manufacturers recommendations.
• Prime repair locations with Firestone LVOC Primer.
• Repair open comers and associated voids with 9" QS Form Flashing.
• All project related debris will be removed in a legal manner by Eagle Rivet Roof Service
COST--------------------------------------------------------------------------$1,200.00
Recommend exploratory work as scoped below for Home Team Clubhouse leaks as seen in walkthrough
with Bryan Barkley on 5-13-13. Formal Repair/Replacement Scope can be assessed after investigative
work below is performed.
SCOPE OF EAGLE WORK
• Move Ballast away from drain line 4-5' for length of clubhouse and shower hallway.
• Investigate seams for failure, cuts, voids, etc.
• Make test cuts to evaluate roof deck integrity and insulation condition
• Make repairs to 2 Exhaust Fans in vicinity.
• Clean all splices with weathered membrane cleaner per manufacturers recommendations.
• Prime repair locations with Firestone LVOC Primer.
• Repair open seams and associated voids with 3" QS seam tape and .060 EPDM membrane.
• All project related debris will be removed in a legal manner by Eagle Rivet Roof Service
COST-----------------------------------------------------NOT TO EXCEED $3,000.00
Conditions/Exclusions: The above pricing includes all applicable taxes and excludes building permit fees. Asbestos
discovery is not included in the above proposal. Wood Blocking is excluded.
