Minutes for Norwich Baseball Stadium Authority Regular Monthly Meeting Wednesday July 8, 2015 (6:00 p.m.) City Hall Norwich 1. Call to order. Co-Chairperson, Gary Schnip, GS (6:00) NBSA Members Present: Sean Ryan, SR; Tom Cummings, TC; Robert Reed, RR; Peter Slocum, PS, Matthew Fortin, MF, Gary Carignan, GC Members Absent: Bob Demars, BD, Michael Jewell MJ Also Present: Eric Knighton, EK – CT Tigers Representative 2. Review of June 10, 2015 Meeting Minutes. Motion made by SR and seconded by RR passed (7-0) to accept the meeting minutes as presented. 3. Public Comment - None 4. Chairman’s Report (MJ) – none 5. Correspondence a. Sent: None b. Received: i. Email from Sandy Kuchta dated July 08, 2015 detailing June financial reports. (See attached). 6. Budget Committee: Thanks to Sandy for email containing financials. Critical that the NBSA continues to receive the financials this way until an Accountant is elected to the NBSA. Revision received and distributed to all NBSA members 7. Operations Committee (GS/Organization Representatives) a. Met with Mr. Prentice early in the season and the promise for getting current on the past due invoices. Disappointing results at best. 8. Organization’s Monthly Report EK – i. Visitors HVAC unit is still not operating properly; might have to contract with outside agency or service company ii. Brought a check in the amount of $20,000 to the City for payment on account  iii. Need to still replace the light fixtures on the overflow lot. Power is at the poles but the lights are bad. iv. Stadium is busy. Attendance has been very good. v. Team is on an extended road trip beginning today 9. Old Business: Letter to be drafted to be submitted to the City Council including all the major capital improvement/maintenance items. a. SR to check with Fawn Walker to see if there are any incentives for field lighting replacement initiative and the parking lot bulb replacements. 10. New Business: None 11.
