Meeting Minutes for Norwich Baseball Stadium Authority Wednesday, October 10, 2018 (6:00 p.m.) Norwich City Hall, Norwich [Amended] • Call to Order (6:00 p.m.) by Chairperson Michael Jewell, MJ NBSA Members Present: Gary Schnip, GS; Tom Cummings; TC, Matthew Fortin, MF, Fred Phelps, FP, Gary Carignan; GC Members Absent: Sean Ryan, SR Bob Demars, BD, Robert Reed RR Others Absent: CT Tigers Representative – Dave Schermerhorn; DS • Review of September 12, 2018 NBSA meeting minutes: Motion made by TC to accept meeting minutes as presented, seconded by MF, passed unanimously (6-0). • Public Comment: none • Chairman’s Report/Correspondence: email received from DS announcing he will be absent from the 10/11/2018 meeting due to be at out of town meetings all week. DS is trying to facilitate meetings with Team. DS informed MJ that the Elevator still not operating. No update on Jaypro • Budget Committee – a. Sandy’s report. Financial report submitted approved. Motion made by GC to accept stadium financials as presented, seconded by MF, passed unanimously (6-0). • Stadium update: GS a. Talked to Musco and another vendor for lighting. Need to get a response to the lighting spending from City Manager. The team needs to commit to a lease renewal. Lighting decision at a critical state to have in place for next season. • Organization report: none • Old Business: 2019 NBSA schedule complete and will be submitted to City by GC on 10/11/2018 • New Business: none • Adjournment: Motion made by GC, 2nd by MF to adjourn the meeting.
