LAST REVISED 12/21/2011 12:15 pm MINUTES COMMISSION ON THE CITY PLAN POCD UPDATE SUBCOMMITTEE Tuesday, December 15, 2011 - 7:00 P.M. 23 UNION STREET NORWICH CONNECTICUT LOWER LEVEL CONFERENCE ROOM SPECIAL MEETING AGENDA ITEMS A, B & C – CALL TO ORDER, ROLL CALL, DETERMINATION OF QUORUM: Ralph Page called the meeting to order at 7:00 p.m. Committee Members Present: Ralph Page, Peter Davis, Bob Mills, Deb Hinchey, Les King, and Keith Ripley Absent: Also present: P. Michael Lahan, John Mathieu, and Jacquie Barbarossa, Recording Secretary A quorum was present. D. APPROVAL OF MEETING MINUTES: Upon motion by Les King and seconded by Keith Ripley the members voted unanimously to APPROVE the minutes of the November 15th special meeting. E. COMMUNICATIONS: None F. OLD BUSINESS: None G. NEW BUSINESS: 1. POCD Update – Issues Summary: Presentation by Planimetrics Jason Vincent from Planimetrics gave an update of the key issues that were found during the workshops held with residents and Boards and Commissions. There was discussion regarding the rental/housing opportunities in the City and the historic assets. Mr. Vincent stated that the City should communicate its successes more effectively. Members discussed the findings today versus the POCD 10 years ago. There was discussion on where and when the next workshop would be held. H.
