MINUTES COMMISSION ON THE CITY PLAN Tuesday, May 20, 2014 – 7:00 PM 23 UNION STREET NORWICH CONNECTICUT LOWER LEVEL MEETING ROOM REGULAR MEETING AGENDA ITEMS A, B & C – CALL TO ORDER, ROLL CALL, DETERMINATION OF QUORUM: Ralph Page, Chairman called the meeting to order at 7:00 PM. Commission Members Present: Ralph Page, Michael Lahan, Les King, John Mathieu and Daniel Daniska. A quorum was present. Absent: Art Sharron, Frank Manfredi Also Present: Peter Davis, Director D: APPROVAL OF MEETING MINUTES: Upon motion by Les King and seconded by John Mathieu, the Commission voted unanimously to APPROVE the minutes of the April 22, 2014 Regular Meeting and the May 5, 2014 Special Meeting. E: COMMUNICATIONS: Peter Davis informed the Commission there was a first request to extend the time to post bond and file mylars for SDP #1027. F. PUBLIC HEARINGS: None G. OLD BUSINESS: None H: NEW BUSINESS: 1: SP #14-01/CAM #14-01; 44 Falls Ave Application of City of Norwich Public Utilities for upgrade of Water Pollution Control Facility, within a 100 year designated floodplain. Coastal Site Plan review (CAM) required. Mr. Davis informed CCP that referral was required to IWWCC for advisory report. Upon motion by Michael Lahan, second by Les King and voted unanimously, the Commission on the City Plan voted to table application pending IWWCC report. I. EXTENSIONS: 1. SDP #1027 – Thayer’s Enterprises, LLC – 34-36, 61-63,65,67, 71-73 West Main St. & Falls Ave - for the 1st extension of time to post bond and file mylars. Upon motion by John Mathieu, second by Les King, motion carried unanimously to APPROVE SDP #1027 request for first extension of filing.
