Call to Order Chairman, Rabbi Charles Arian, called the November 8, 2010 meeting of the Ethics Commission to order at 5:05 p.m. 2. Determination of Quorum It was determined a quorum was present. 3. Approval of Minutes a. Minutes of October 12, 2010 Motion to approve T. Lanier, 2nd I. Misenheimer, motion carried. Ethics Commission 11/8/10 page –2- 4. Citizen Comment NONE 5. Correspondence None 6. Old Business a. Continuation of discussion of recommendations to the City Council for amendments to Code of Ethics, Rules & Procedures Manual & Citizen’s Guide Joe Sastre suggested waiting to hear from the council regarding the suggested amendment. R. Davidson asked that the Commission make administrative change suggestions to either the Council or Manager regarding keeping the information process open and accessible to the public. 7. New Business 8. Other a. Concerns regarding article on Mayor’s daughter’s internship at NCDC Rabbi Arian spoke to Bob Mills at NCDC to clear up any confusion regarding the Mayor’s daughter doing an internship and clarified that she had approached NCDC and they would be happy to accept any other individuals with similar experience as interns. 9.
